    Hey all,
    Heading to NY on the 12th June for a week (after a wedding in Atlanta). Looking for places to stay but I'm totally lost to be honest...

    Can anyone recommend a cheap decent hotel/hostel in a decent area where it's easy to get to the touristy stuff (and maybe close to some decent places to go out??)

    The Affinia manhattan is a great place. Not too pricey and located right slap bang in the middle of things. Google them.

    The affinia has been recommended a good few times, wish I had stayed there instead of Fitzpatricks...

    This is probably the most commonly asked question on this forum, do a search for "NY Hotels" or something similar and you'll get a load of threads.
