    Hi,

Paul here from DU filmmakers in Trinity College. We're shooting the final scene from a zombie movie this Saturday in Drumcondra. The scene involves a bunch of zombies both playing and spectating rugby. It should be a lot of fun.

If you'd like to come along to be a zombie or to help out with make up, we really need all the help we can get - particularly extras.

If you can come along, please email me paul@rslw.com ... I'm really in quite some need for zombies.

    Cheers,

    Paul

Could well be. I'm all zombie'd out. I've been looking for zombies for about three months now and this is the last run. One more day.

And Joe ... I wanted you to FIND zombies.

AND ... I asked you if you were Ger and you said you were. But at least we got it all sorted out.

Oooooo... brains... I mean, cooool. Sounds like fun. How do I get to the location (bus/train/dart from city centre, etc), and @ what time?

I'm sure the homeless on Dublin's streets would jump at the opportunity to make a few bob, plus you won't need any props for their clothes or anything.

    Bob?

Man, if I could pay people I'd be sitting happy. Although there'll be at least two decent parties related to the film and it'll be shown in the Sugar Club on the 19th of this month. Most of it's edited already from footage we did last month, but this particular scene's been postponed three times already.

Location is Distillery Road in Drumcondra. Call time 12pm.

There's a map that I whipped up here:

The script is right down the bottom of the page too. I stress, we need loads of people!

Sounds like a regular rugby match to me.

<<<===== There is a film production forum by the way. You might get a response in there.
(Oh, I see you already found it... carry on...)

    Yah,

I figured 'After Dark' and 'Film Production' would be the two likeliest hangouts for potential zombies.

    * aherm *

as for zombie rugby players. hmmm. the film really questions whether there might be a little bit of zombie in all of us.

Another Lucocade ad in the offing?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23 paulus

not quite Lucozade ... the budget for that ad could probably put the entire crew of our thing through film school ...

but it has been a lot of fun so far, and the makeup is good!

I always wanted to be in a b-rate flick like evil dead or something but this sounds like id just be sitting out in a cold field with cheap face-paint on.

Will there be boobies?...just not a zombie flick without boobies ¬_¬

*except for Deadmeat, it didnt have boobies but still made for a good b-rate horror flick!

There is boobies, but they're behind a tank top!

    But whats my motivation ???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,929 ✭✭✭Raiser

 You have to integrate booby exposure into the production, normally via thinly veiled and preposterous plot devices or "circumstances", didn't you say you were studying this?

I'm not studying film actually. Philosophy student here.

We have given our female lead quite an easy time in the boobs department now come to think of it. The possibilities have been endless.

Myself and a friend are interested. What do we wear etc? Sounds like it'll be a laugh.

Actually may have a couple of other people interested too. Any criteria we need to fill?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 23 paulus

    Hey Hey,

there's no criteria at all. We just need lots of people willing to be made up to look scary and to shuffle along scared.

Anyone and everyone welcome, all ages, all sizes!

    Peace,

    Paul

Would glasses be a drawback? (and from UCD)

Just don't wear them. You'll stumble around a lot more and it will add authenticity to the performance.

glasses are fine. They'd probabaly look quite good actually with the makeup.
