Some very well-informed stories on page 13 of The Phoenix on McGuirk and Piranha. Must be someone in TN who writes, or informs, them anonymously. It even has knowledge of top-level meetings between Cyril Smyth and TN.

    Anyone know who it is?

Would love to write the investment section of The Phoenix, so if you are reading this and you write the articles, will you PM me and i'll keep it anonymous! Want to see what the set-up is in the magazine!

Yeah i noticed that - McGuirk picked up a copy down in Ennis and we had a good read of it - VERY well informed, one might even say carbon copy like :P

Why buy the cow when you can get the sex for free? It was good but it wasn't something that a few well placed phonecalls/meetings couldn't have obtained.

tbh i doubt that The phonix could print the story without a kickback to tn, and i would also doubt that TN would reveal its Source either...

altho i just remembered something being told something very interesting on election night from someone from TN.....

    [intermission]

So how we all doing? Having a nice night? Just hanging around, doing nothing else but viewing boards? Fun, eh? Anyone got any interesting stories?

[/intermission - the film break thing, not the movie]

    Who told you what now?

The Phoenix article is very similar to the Village article, I would guess they got most of their info from that.

Was it a favourable article? I'm presuming not...

TN came out well, same goes for the Village one. I don't really see how we could have not come out well though considering the fact we didn't do anything wrong!

i wont discuss it on the forum, but anyone here who has my number can ring me. i have an idea exactly who it is.
Joe, feel free to say you think it was me.

It wasn't me, however. I haven't seen the article. I think Andrew probably has it spot on, given that both TN and The Village are out quite a while at this stage.

lol - love this phrase /making a mental note to use to fit it into day-to-day conversations from now on!

On re-reading the articles, prob not written by TN person, but almost definitely initiated by TN person, and given huge input from them...

if it wasn't you, fair enough.

I havent read the Village article, anyone have it handy to scan/ upload it?
