Green French Mustard. The name escapes me at the moment, it some sort of herbs plus mustard and i think its from provancle. Its very nice if slightly strange looking on sausages.

I'm not sure of the name of the mustard, but it's got mustard seeds in it and it's pretty crunchy. And lovely. Dollop it over the Bacon, cabbbage n' spuds!!

What is the chemical in Colman's English Mustard which, if you take a vigorous sniff of the jar immediately after opening it, will nearly knock you out?

It reminds me of two other things, neither of which I want to try again:

    (i) "Stop bath" (as used in printing photographs from negatives)

    (ii) Poppers.

Personally, I'm inclined to think it's the latter...

That could be a French brand of wholegrain mustard called Maille. It's quite popular here. Great on pork, beef or lamb, or even on brown bread.

Nice idea for a forum, this, by the way.

Fools. Auran Sinappi, Mild, is the only mustard worth having. It's the green tube in the middle of the page here:

    http://www.auransinappi.fi/suomi/tuotteet.phtml

I know, I can't read it either. But it's feckin' savage mustard. Great flavour. Just great. Anyone want some? I have a couple of spares (3), freshly imported over christmas. €5 including postage in a jiffy bag envelope.

Ah, mustard. Ah, smoked Makkara (Finnish sausage).

Coleman's English Mustard, used as liberally as American mustard on a hotdog = mouthgasm.
