Those of us old enough to know better will know Eric Bloom as the lead singer of Blue Oyster Cult, famous for his ever-present aviator shades and his "stun guitar"

Now he has his own line of "hand airbrushed" guitars.

The best part is, and I quote: "Eric will hand-deliver each guitar to the purchaser. If the purchase is final, Eric will communicate with the buyer to deliver the guitar at a Blue Öyster Cult concert of their choosing, handsigning it, posing for photos and playing the guitar at that show on the song depicted by the guitar."
Eh? That's raising the bar a bit, isn't it?

Just for reference here's a pic of Eric getting his first guitar lesson from Buck Dharma "back in the day"

It's funny how there's no mention at all about what kind of guitars they are. Maybe Eric is going purely for the non-playing collector? I personally think some of the designs are pretty lame esp teh ME-262 and the Harvester of Eyes ones. Great songs, shame about the guitar art.;)
