Thanks Shrimp for your kind comment. I was hoping that someone of your calibre would deign to view my poor efforts and offer advice as to how I should improve. Your riveting remark no doubt applies to the bridge.

Fajitas!

Photo's 1,2,3,4 and 6 have potential if you put them under the knife. Try desaturations, more contrast, more darkness, slight blurs. I'm sure there's a quality image in there somewhere.

Yeah especially 1,2,3 and 4 seem overexposed and 5,6 and 7 are not very interesting snapshots imo. To be honest I think the only picture with potential is "Graceland", the others are snapshots, but you mentioned that in your topic title. Anyway, what Shrimp is trying to say is that you're on -->Arts-->Photography forum here... if you want to post "Holiday Snapshots" I don't think you should post them here as it doesn't fit the forum topic.

Unless I am banned for taking snapshots I am happy to post any of my photos or snapshots here as I consider all my shots to be snapshots. I don't see the difference!
I was merely seeking advice on how I should improve.

Keep putting the pictures up. You said they're holiday snapshots and if my snapshots were reliably as good, I'd probably be happy. I like the one of the train. The grave one's pretty good too, and it's just a pity you couldn't have gone wider for the bridge and skyline shots.
