I wonder can we do LAN games of Halo 2 in here? Is it open yet? They must charge for it or something? Sounds interesting though......

They've had people in testing out their network for free last wednesday and thursday. As far as I know its either open now or is opening this week. Here's some pics and an article: http://www.irishdev.com/NewsArticle.aspx?id=2175

Yep. I was invited along for the test last week, but it was fairly short notice and I couldn't make it.

EDIT: Just read that article... who the hell is Nicki Hayes supposed to be?

Bah. I haven't got time to read captions.

Hardly a celebrity anyway. God I hate radio.

Went along with a buddy for the network testing sessions.

They were offering, Halo 1+2, DOA, PDZ, PGR3. I thought they would have been much better with fight night and GRAW on the bill.

Anyway, the place was nice enough (although obviously It was not fully finished) same samsung monitors as the display pods, nice leather chairs (although might be awkward to sit into the table if your a big guy).

Was not much atmosphere or sense of them trying to rally anything together, there was one game of PDZ which most people were in, but you could not join half way through, and nobody mentioned when the game was over.....

At €5/hour, I think they may be asking a little too much, will definitly check it out again in a few weeks.

It opens officially today I think.

Dont think its officially opened, my mate is doing the promotions end of things for it, he rang me yesterday and told me he's getting me tickets for the launch..... ;)

Free gargles on Microsoft me hopes! Lets hope its like the 10yrs of PS2 do, with Groove Armada + John Gibbons playing aswell! That was a killer night......
