    BACKLASH // Thursday 06 April // Padded Cell(Suicide/DC)

This Thursday at Backlash we host a quadrupole bill! as we have the Irish debut of a
seriously exciting new act, Padded Cell along with Romo, Jon Averill & Simon the toilet
    attendant.

Padded Cell is a collabaration between Richard Sen (Bronx Dogs) & Neil Higgins
(Dirty Beatniks) who record for DC & Suicide(A division of Eskimo Recordings).
In their short time together their records have been turning up in charts and record
boxes of DJs all over the world, including ours so we're delighted to have Neil
to fly over to play a DJ set.

The Padded Cell sound mixes the best elements of disco & raw acid house.
Bass & Bongo grooves clashing with 80's drum machine samples, disco breaks
and menacing synth work outs combing to provide some of the most exciting new
music we've heard in quite some time, with tracks like Unknown Zone & Are You
Anywhere doing some real damage on the Backlash dancefloor recently.

Check out some Padded Cell tracks for yourself:
    Picadilly Line Strut : http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF175186-01-01-01.mp3
    Take You Down: http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF175186-01-02-01.mp3

And of course this will be another Backlash wallet friendly gig as we're not raising
the door price 1cent so it will still be just 5eu thats 6 us dollars, or 3.50 sterling.

Support comes from Jon Averill & Lady Miss Romo who makes his triumphant
return from New York along with our new resident Simon the toilet attendant
dropping some afro-electro in the toilets!
