I may consider buying this as our old PB laptop in the kitchen is fcuked. Always crashes and has to use an external pcmcia wireless card, which adds to the problem.

just on the phone to dell about this now...zzzz...its not wireless and if u wanted to add to make it wireless the cost is 452.75, however, there is a laptop for 499 then, so it would make more sense to get this one as its better spec. the guy kept telling me on the phone, now u'll have to upgrade to microsoft word, over and over again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought the 1300 a few weeks ago, cost 485 inclusive. It has a wireless card and its perfect for what im using it for.

Could use a ram upgrade but ill do that myself, dell will charge a fortune. Don't mind the guys on the phone pimping Word etc, just tell them you don't need it. Also if you're buying one of these online, be sure to check the warranty. They list a price but then automatically give you an extended warranty which adds like 100 euro.
