    Looking to go there for a week at the end of May and was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to stay??

    Apsis Splendid Hotel is a good hotel. It is very central. All the tourist destinations etc are within a couple of stops. It is Very Clean and modern. There is no bar there but there are numerous bars and restaurants around the area so there are no problems in that regard . It is very close to one of the tube stations.

    Royal Hotel is right on Las Ramblas and cheap enough, clean and comfy beds

    Stayed in AC Vilamari last week. Just off Placa d'Espanya. Good value (free mnibar and fitness centre might be handy if you're staying longer than a weekend). Double rooms only

    We stayed in the Hotel Reding last month and i can definitely recomemnd it,good value for money,5 mins from Las Rambla and friendly multi-lingual staff :)

    Thanks for all your advise, i actually picked Apsis Splendid Hotel which u recommended :):)

    Got flights for €240 and accomidation for €410 for 2 people for 4 nights, so a total of €650 for two people for four nights, im happy with that:)
