I was wondering what I would need to do a proper distribution system that would provide the 4 Irish channels and maybe Channel 4 via Deflector. With FTA Sattelite which would get me the rest of the UK terrestrials (except five) and a number of other channels. But all on the one cable (seperate cable if needbe). And also feed in the output of a Sky digibox for the subscription channels that I watch like Discovery. This full setup would be watchable in all rooms with a TV and each room would need a FTA sat receiver (or PVR).

I was hoping to end up with:
    (Analogue)
    1. RTE 1
    2. RTE 2
    3. TV 3
    4. Channel 4
    5. Sky Digibox
    (DSAT)
    1. BBC 1
    2. BBC 2
    3. BBC 3
    4. BBC 4
    5. ITV 1
    6. ITV 2
    7. ITV 3
    8. ITV 4
    9. BBC News 24
10 onwards. The rest of the FTA channels.

Is this possible at a reasonable cost (less the cost of the receivers)?

I have a distribution amp (just a basic sky eye compative TV amp / splitter)
1..4 is the TV aerial channels
5 is PC satellite Reciever via a modulator (an old VHS will work) all FTA channels on 13, 19E, 23.5 E and 28E with Liviving room IR remote (PC in Kitchen/Dining room).
6 is FTV Satellite receiver (All FTA channels 28E, + Sky3, C4 and Five) 45 Favorites
    7 is Analog Satellite Receiver
8 is Irish Sub (2 mix packs) Digibox. 50 Favorites
9 is S-VHS player which can feed a Motorised FTA Receiver (20+ satellites) if not playing tape. (About 1200 TV and 1000 + Radio, 8 sets of favorites)

Living room has a 4 way RGB scart switch as only one TV SCART in does RGB. This switch selects DVD, Irish Sub Digibox, FTA motorised (all RGB) or S-VHS playback.

The Rf in and Rf out of the various box are daisy-chained with Irish Sub Digibox last and its RF1 feeds local TV. RF2 feeds 4 way distribution amp.

(5 TVs). The Sky eye can be used with any remote TV except kitchen. The FTA Digibox is in Kitchen + 2nd DVD player.

You can split any distribution amp outlet in two and feed two bedrooms from one feed cable.
