Anyone know where I can get a splitter for the type of power adapter that you'd get with a modem or other such device?

I'd like to split the power from one power adapter to 2 devices.

    Thanks

    It is what it's.

are you sure both devices will run from the same voltage and have the same polarity ( not all are centre positive and USR used to have AC adaptors for it's modems )

Yes, yes I did. Well spotted. This splitter isn't just for computers, I went through the list of forums twice and figured I'd get a wider audience here - not every electronics buff would browse the comp forum.

And look, I got at least two helpful replies, thanks Commander (tried 'em they denied all knowledge of such a thing in stock) and Capt'n (yep, they're the same voltage, power supply will supply enough current for both, never checked the pin polarity but will just plug and pray, battery in voltage tester is flat).

Update: I found one on eBay under "CCTV splitter" after a good while searching :)

    It is what it's.
