Quick Q about the Merrion

I went to the Merrion last week and signed in using my passport as id. I was just wondering when do I get a membership card (I'm assuming that's what other people were signing in with?) and do I need id to go in the second time, or can I just give my name now that I've registered?

They will probably have one for you the next time youre in. They gave me mine the night i registered but they will have your name and a picture of you so you dont need anything when youre going in really, just more hassle for them.

They may ask you to sign in again the next time you go up as the first 2 times you go there they have the option of giving you a 1 day membership and then on the 3rd time they will either give you an extended membership for a week-a month or give you your card

ive been there about 5 times and ive had to sign u a few times...

There system must be bad... wasnt even on the system

i used a driving licence and havent needed to sign up since i got my card. might be worth checking with them about ID

Just bring your id just in case next time anyway
