If you train thai you'll still be able to get up in the morning. Only the Lucky get to train with elbows. Plus clinch is quite relaxed.
I only have limited expereince of Bridgestone but... It has a great vib, and unlike other gyms the chances of gettin injured are very slim. I suppose this is because of the discipline and the fact that no-one "brings their fight to the gym". I've been injured too many times when I'm training for a fight when some fool brings his fight to the gym, well in Bridgestone that dosnt seem to happen which is good.
Most of the time if you get hurt in training its because your an idiot or your training with idiots.. not always though.

    Peace

    Japan?:)

K1 is more or less modified Thai. Why don't you want to clinch? Clinchin rocks!

You can go to any Kickboxing of Thaiboxing gym. The kickboxing gyms near me teach a freestyle approach so you could do either MT or FCK without much problems. Just have to remember when you can lowkick or not.

Ha! Yeah well it's not all that sanitary but if I wanted clean and good looking I'd do embroidery.

Seriously though it sounds like you want to do Thai, but without the clinch right? I'd check out a full contact kickboxing gym, might be your best bet. Where are you based? I'm sure someone can recommend somewhere.

Has Irish Fighter come out yet? The store I get it from [they keep a copy for me] hasn't gotten them yet.
