First time laptop question

Right so i bought my very first laptop, Dell Inspiron 1300, very basic but after much consideration its all i need.

However i would like to bump up the memory a little, its currently 256MB, how much would i be looking at to double that to 512? and is it difficult to install?

Here is a guide to install it, and where to get it... i just bought one of these today when it arives im gonna stick another 512 in it...
and also if u dont mind me asking how long did it take to arrive? cause im dying to get my hands on my new one

if youre talking about the laptop, i ordered it on a monday evening and i had it on wednesday morning, i was very suprised to have it that quick

i got the same laptop off the outlet store, just wondering if i get 512mb ram will that make it 768mb ram or will it just replace the 256?

and if i buy 1gig ram will I have that plus the 256..........or can you just have one stick of memory in this laptop

Yes it will make it 768...

thanks, worth getting a 1gig (think thats the max total memory) or just get a 512mb?

The max is 1.25gigs... but really all you need is 768mb tbh with the processor being a celeron M...
