Would be interested in people's opinion regarding the above. I'm currently on a quest to double my bankroll and given my generally appalling play, I need all the help I can get!

pokerlistings.com seems to have all sorts of tasty sign-up deals (the $600 free from Titan for an initial deposit of $400 really caught my eye), any thoughts on easiest place to clear poker sign-up bonuses (i.e. wagering requirements, soft games etc). Potential for rakeback would also be a major consideration!
Already have Party, Vegasbaby, Interpoker accounts. had Tribeca account but have sworn off there for evah due to interpersonal issues with their RNG.

    mmmm...whoring.....

I think http://www.bonuswhores.com/bonus-grid.php would be where you should decide from.

    also www.pokerlistings.com
It depends how much money you're willing to deposit, I think the days are gone now when you could clear up to $100 in bonus money in a day or twos play.

Most sites now offer big bonuses that clear very slowly (UB, Full Tilt) unless you play several tables at 50c/$1 NL or above.

The PaddyPowerPoker.com $101 is probably the easiest to clear, over twice as easy as a standard Tribeca bonus. Obviously only applies if you and the RNG can sort out your differences, or at least agree to be civil :o

bonus are gone ****hard to clear now compared to what they used to be. I remember interpoker did a monthly $100 bouns that required 500 raked hand to clear, it now takes 2000 hands:( Will hill do a monthly £25(about $44) for 5 hours of table play, thats a very nice little monthly earner for someone on a tight br but I hate the games on will hill. The other cryptos sites like caribean sun etc. probably do the best bonuses for low limit players as there worked on raked hands, but the games tend to be excrutiatingly tight(I found its actually not worth playing at some of these sites, your better just going to pacific or party or something and playing in good fishy games). Party do $100 for 700 raked hands and thats probably the best your gonna get at the mo.

Bonuses like the $600 for $400 deposit on titan are impossible to clear at lower limit games so I wouldnt bother with them if you want to build your br fast. Generally if you play low limit games steer clear of the "poker points" style bonuses, they are very hard to clear.

We have agreed an amicable separation where she gets the money and I get my sanity back.

    Never again!!

Sun Poker have a $50 bonus after 200 raked hands and €40 more after 50 more hands. I cleared it in 2 hours last night at 2/4. Pity every single player was an absolute rock.

problem with that is that a raked hand is defined as any hand with a pot of $20 or more, so for players playing 1/2 on that site(where as you say the players are bleddin rocks) it takes a fair bit longer. Pots below $20 count for 1/4 of a raked hand so its really $90 for 1000 raked hands which still isnt bad I suppose. Very nice bonus though for players playing $2/$4 or above.

2/4 means like $1200+ bankroll which may be above what he was planning.

I cleared the same bonus in 6 hours at 0.25/0.50 PL O8 last month, so its very doable even at smaller levels.

And there was me thinking that 1200 was within the lower range of .5/1 level.

2/4 = an 8 grand bankroll! or probably a bit more actually, will be quite some time before I get there.....

I haven't checked this but by the sounds of it this is on the Crypto network, where bonuses are dealt raked hands and not contributed raked hands, which makes it much easier to reach this even at the lower levels....

I think were getting our wires crossed with regards to limit/no-limit. I was talking about limit Holdem, so lets say you one table and get 50 raked hands an hour(which is maybe even a bit high), $20 dollar pots are really an oddity at $1/$2 on this site(at least they were when I played here) so lets assume all pots count for 1/4 of a raked hand. It will take you 1000 raked hands so thats 20 hours. Im sure its a lot easier to clear at NL but I assume you were multitabling when you were playing pot limit Ian?

Sorry for some reason I got it in to my head we were talking about a 500 raked hand bonus:p **** me this thread is confusing:D

I was using the min bankroll multiplier mentioned in the forum sticky btw (300 times is the least mentioned). Perhaps it needs to be updated?

That would be for limit poker. For nl youd need a lot more than 300 times the bb and I think thats what 5starpool was reffering to.

I believe it is roughly 10-15 times the max buy-in? Which at 2-4 is usually 400, so 4-6k.

Let me retract my earlier statement about rocks. I dropped back to £1/£2 (sterling) today and made more in two hours than i made in the whole of last week. Total and utter calling stations!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,841 ✭✭✭Running Bing

Thats weird actually, I have noticed the £ games on sites like will hill are way better than the $ ones. I think its all the english gamblers just looking for some fun who play sterling games while all the determined bankroll building players play the dollar games.
