    Hi just wondering does anyone know if it would be worth it to upgrade from an X800GT?? to a 7600GT or should i wait a while?

    A 7600GT would definately give you a good boost over an X800GT, if you can sell your X800GT and get a 7600GT for €204 it would be a reasonable upgrade. An X800GT is roughly equal to a 6600GT so any benchmarks you see of a 6600GT vs a 7600GT would give you a good idea of the difference.

    I wouldn't mull too long on it though as those €204 7600GT's went awfully fast last time they were in stock.

    If you wanted to wait ATI are rumoured to be prepping an X1700 series to compete against the 7600GT though that could be any time later this year so it could be while before they show.

    Kool i think i will wait and see what ati has in store... as i just bout a laptop a couple mins ago lol! how much you rekon ill get for the X800GT if i sell?

    I follow the for sale threads ... and I reckon half the price with a bit added on is usually around what you'll get for things ... unless its something special / recent
