Just finished watching Rocky IV there, surprisingly despite all expectations you can't help but love it - I'd never seen it prior to tonight but I liked it alot. Great to See Dolph Lundgren up there, and, despite playing an actual human being, uttering less words then Arnie does in the Terminator.

I can't believe though after two sequels already (You can't really include the first film in this, as, after all, it WAS the first film and therefore was somewhat new) the formula of "60 minutes of Rocky Training followed by 30 minutes of a fight scene in which Rocky gives one punch for every dozen he receives yet still wins" still hasn't ventured any further...

That said though it's still an amazingly interesting watch and despite the above fact, you never seem to actually notice its just a re-hash of the previous film with different opponents...

Now, who can tell me if Rocky V if worth the watch? Never saw that one either....:D

Rocky V is the one that everybody loves to hate but it's actually pretty good. It's more along the lines of the first film than any of the other sequels were.

I sat down and watched 1-5 there last week as i was sick... I like the films... Cant wait for Rocky 6 i hope he doesnt die sob sob

I missed Rocky V last night. I was getting something to eat and flicking through the channels, and realised it was on but unfortunately that was nearer the end.

Rocky V is terrible. Stallone's kid can't act and they never name him. They just call him 'Kid.' The fight scene at the end is so crap. Way too many fas cuts.
