    Cheers.

Can you tell me how much your sticking on it yourself, 200 , 500+ etc. Is the source reliable? Is it "inside information"?. Thanks

    Seems to be a drifter:confused:

Should I put it as each way or to win??

Odds are 8-1 on paddy powers

    Why isn't it on Betfair?

Why use Paddypower when its available elsewhere at much better prices.

    Check www.oddschecker.com to compare odds.

    Its over 12/1 on Betfair.

Im going for The Miner in this one for the craic:D

Sandra Forster, trainer of The Miner
"He's been running well and has a nice weight but I'm worried that the ground will be a bit too soft for him and that two miles is a bit sharp around Kelso."

Im going for Sound of Cheers, likes the course and has ideal trip and has won on both occasions that hes last been tried on heavy. Will also be doing Leningrad in the 3.10 at Lingfield. "He is by Montjeu out of a Gone West mare which is the same cross as Motivator" and we all know how good Motivator was. Hes currently 4/5 in places and looks a cut above his rivals.

The distance is perfect and he loves the heavy ground. Great EW bet I would say at 8/1.

The last time it won a race was at Kelso over same distance so the above is pure lies. Runs best in Heavy ground like today. Has been backed well this morning. Take the 8/1 available.;)

Yes. It should be about 15/2 but will be more like 15/1.

Being tipped e/w in some of the rags, beaten only over a length last time where as The Miner went down by 20 lengths in heavy last time. Will go a few bob e/w with Posh Stick!

I backed him at 13.5 earlier, looking at the trend I thought he might shorten and I could lay some off, instead he went out to 19.5...

The Miner is a drifter too:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,258 ✭✭✭digiman

There seems to be a bit of money for him on betfair now, he has gone from 20s down to 12.5 (decimal) and is currently 12/1 on boylesports, was 14/1.
Saying that there are a couple of other movers in this race as well

Mr. Prickle for me. Will hopefully make all to win (if there's no pace). Not sure about this "that's all I can say" nonsense but I'll say no more..

Was nearly hampered by the faller and had to go around it but had plenty of chance to get back into it after then. Unlucky.

I heard that the Miner was taken out of it by a faller? Posh Stick did ok

Maybe the money can be made back on Bollin Michael in the 4.30 at Southwell. Has attracted huge support in to 11/2 in places from 12's??

"Go Figure" - had a good win last week, looked to have more in the tank and beat Tamagin by a lenth or so and he is also running in this race.

    Layed him in-running for 10.0 :)

Not bad for my first bet on betfair. I backed a loser and managed to get my money back...:)

That is a very dodgy thing to do, I have seen horses get laid at 1000 and go on to win, I would be very careful doing that if I was you. I could be wrong on this but I think during Cheltenhan but I think it was Nicanor that someone laid at 1000, imagine how that person was feeling after the race!!!
Fair enough if you lay him at worse odds than you place the bet on, but just to make you aware of that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,258 ✭✭✭digiman

You missed my earlier post...I had backed him at 13.5....
I thought I got that edit in quick enough!!!

Noland. And he lost 20,000 on it.

And he never even came back with a possible explanation for this "hush hush" flop. We were obviously supposed to take him literally when he said that's all he can say.

Must have layed the house on him on Betfair.

No I dont think so. It ran a decent race and went in to 10/1 before the off. I think it had an EW chance. It wasn't inside info in my opinion.

thats all i could say because it wasnt my tip it was given to me.

it feels like school on this forum. noone seems to complain except you and sjones and you will probably just start complaing again now.

Well I think most of us appreciate your advice on this forum. Your tips have been excelelnt to date on here. Nothing worse than getting a loser but you cant win with them all. It would good to see your tips over say a 6 month period on a single thread to see what your ROI would be. The same goes for all tipsters on here.

Myself had a nice 9/2 winner today in a big handicap which turned a heavy loss this week into a profit. It has been a difficult week this week so far for some reason. Anyway, if you have any more fairly sure tips then please post them up.

The only reason I'm replying here is because you brought my name into it. You seem to have attracted a few fans on here and it would be worth your while to explain to them where you are getting your tips from, or maybe not even that, but at least what the tipster has told you about it. Has the tipster given you winning tips before? Explain it to us a bit better. If you took the tip blindly, and are posting it here blindly without any info about it, it might be worth your while to let people know that. Everyone's tips flop, if they didn't you wouldn't even be here. I just think that since you do have people who follow your tips, it would be common courtesy to explain your tips or selections a little better. Who knows, you might even learn something, and they might too. I'm glad to see you're making an effort with the whole full stops and spaces thing. We just might be getting somewhere with you.
