Want to move to London, but not sure if I'll make it....

Hi, in the past few days I've been given notice that my job is finished at the end of April. I really want to move over to London, but I know no one over there, I have decent experience and a good portfolio (3 years multimedia developer) but no education.

What I'm wondering is, can I make a go of it over there? Is it difficult to try and get bvy without and education qualifications? Any tips or advice is very much appreciated!

PS - not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, if not, sorry.

    Good Luck.

The right attitude in life, and having the balls to do something often wins out (in the end) over an 'education'.

I think you might have better luck in getting some specific advice etc... in some of the business forums, or even www.askaboutmoney.com

If you're prepared to work hard and take whatever gets thrown at you then you'll be able to succeed anywhere. It takes about six months to start to settle into anywhere new. I arrived in Dublin from London 18 months ago knowing absolutely noone and hated it for the first few months but now I've a great support network and I'm having the time of my life.
