I have an AVerTV card, with a remote control, but the software that comes with it is fairly crap, a lot of problems and bugs.
What would be the best free PCTV software to use, and would it support the romote control. (the remote control reciever connects into the card, the reciever has the same connection as headphones do)

Try DScaler and see if it's supported ?

It's a little complicated to get fully set up, but it offers by far the best picture quality you're going to get on a PC with standard cable.

I got that thanks, it seems there is something very wrong somewhere. Whenever i exit DScaler, or AVerTV applicaion, the audio stays on... But Dscaler, although the gui is less user friendly, it seem like a much better programme than Aver supply, thanks.

Have a mess with all the filters in particular. You can get a very crisp picture out of them. Been a while since I used it but I think "MoComp" was good.
