Sorry, I'm just looking at Marxcomputer's 210 euro 6600gt and wondering whats so great about them when komplett do them for 140-150 ?

DVD burners for 65 when komplett sell for 45 ?

    X2 3800+ for 380 when komplett sell for 320?

Non existant choice of RAM / Sound cards / motherboards / cases ?

I know it's good to buy irish and all, and that their prices are pretty decent, but I didn't see a single thing on their site that makes them any better than komplett.

Overclockers.co.uk if your buying enough to make the £22 delivery worth it.

Scan.co.uk for small bits if you can get someone over there (friend/relative) to send them to you.

They're not irish but are cheaper then Komplett.

Im not sure how Marx are actually in business, charging €30 for a generic 400w PSU is criminal

Prove what, I just checked all those prices up myself before I wrote that post. Ok yeah, I got the X2 price wrong, sorry.

If marx are that great, just point out what they're good for making a saving on?

Best bet is to get someone on boards to build you one as it can be customised whatever way you chose.
Also labour would be cheaper and you should have a better chance of getting problems sorted.Thats what i do for friends. They choose parts and pay for them,i build system and everyones happy.
Usually if you get someone who knows their stuff theres never any problems.

I am sure a boardsie in your area wouldbe happy to do system for50-70 € labor.

    regards

    kieran

Right... I have no idea what you're talking about. I can only assume you are a troll. For that reason, you are now on my ignore list. Goodbye.

I bought the components for my socket A system from Marx Computers, When I knew nothing:o The original motherboard they sent me was dead, Then when I was in the know I ran memtest. one of the sticks of ram was dodgey.

Then the mobo died (DFI NF2 Ultra Infinity):( And I RMAed that in December, and there is still no sign of it after lots of phonecalls:mad:

Marx Computers may be handy because they are a walk-in shop but their after sales services is a bit ****

I regulary build custom pc's for people. If you are interested in having it done feel free to post back here and I'll get in touch.

If you have a older pc allready its no problem to use some parts from that to keep costs down.
