I'll offer a free flight ticket from Dublin airport to Paris Beauvais, more likely on Saturday the 22nd of April at 6.25am, to an honest person who would have no luggage to check in but would check-in mine (I'll be on the same flight obviously).
I am moving out of Ireland and have loads of stuff to move with me, which exceed the luggage allowance for the flight !

If someone is interested, please contact me asap!
I havent made any bookings yet.

    Thanks !

Is this not a bit dodgy as they always ask if you if the luggage is your own and if you packed it yourself. Maybe I'm cynical but I wouldn't like to end up in the Santé prison.

Yeah, checking in someone else's luggage could land you in a whole heap of trouble if you were found out.

Have you explored the other options - shipping the items over to you via a shipping company, or simply paying the baggage excess?

Note that it's a one way ticket being offered.

R u having a laugh mate? I hope no one would be stupid enough to do this. Besides the fact that it is actually ILLEGAL to do this, for both parties involved, why dont u just pay the excess baggage rather than pay for someone elses flight?? This deal is well dodgy and i hope no one falls for it

There would be nothing wrong with it if the second person is actually present when the stuff is being packed so that there is no funny business. They the person can answer truthfully when asked did they pack the bags themselves.

20KG to Paris with An Post is around €90, probably cheaper than a 2nd flight?

Lets just say this person is trying to smuggle drugs, im sure he will hide them within the lining of the suitcase or some clever trick like that, some poor sucker might be present while he is packing the bag but wont see if there is something hidden in the lining etc.
Anyway, it really doesnt make sense to want to do this with the cost of the flights etc, i have someone staying with me at the mo who got prob about 10 boxes, a guitar etc etc shipped over from the UK for about 100euro.
