This hand has been running through my head all night, please give me your feedback of how I played:

I have playede solid all night, 2 hands out of blinds, happy with play, waiting to catch a few fish.

SE last night €75 with rebuy

17 players left on 2 tables
    Average stack 5.5k

I'm in late position with KK

    Blinds are 100-200
Old man limps under the gun
    Mp goes all-in for 1200
    Ray calls 1200 ( I have 6k in chips )
Old man calls ( everyone else folds )

Q 1: Should I have gone all-in here to isolate with All-in or do I draw in other player(s) ( newish at this table don't know him, but he is a gambler "in bookies all day" )

    Flop comes 884 ( 2 diamonds ) ( 3900 in pot )
I bet 2k as he checks
    He calls

    Turn is a 6diamonds ( 7900 )

    I go all-in with c. 3k in chips
    Old man calls

Q: In reflection this was a bad all-in, however, I did have K of ds and I couldn't put him on a flush draw with 6xbb call and 2k ( he was getting odds for this one )

He throws over 9J of ds - I nearly vommit on table
    All-In has A3cs - no good

Need another diamond, King or 8 to win on river...no joy...Im going home at 12......stunned ....did I play that really bad or I was I unlucky.....

See you in Drogheda today if your going!

I'd say and its my own opinion that you played the hand badly.

It's just like with aces you don't want more than the one caller, you should have isolated, in hindsight the old mans initial call was horrible, knowing that the hand was going to be played to a showdown.

If you isolated you would of still been in it. I can't see the person calling a 6k preflop raise with one person allready in.

Take your point, but KK v. J9 will take his money 80% of the time, surely I want him involved.

yea but that 20% of the time your going bust, you didn't know what the people behind the old man were doing either you could have got about 4 callers just calling the all in.

Out of position im isolating with kings when someone goes all in. just me :D

If you push preflop and take that 1200 everytime as apposed to have a multipot and only winning it 8/10 times im sorry but I know I'd rather be the winner every time :D

there's no gurantee the "old man" would have folded to a push there. hey, they were suited and slightly connected, a monster for some people.

was the old fella kinda tall, with tattoos on his forearms? he would have called.

Problem is, I'm a greedy ****er and wanted to get more chips! But I should have pushed but I thinks its 50/50 as he hit a 7% chance with J high.

He was tall, but had a suit on, round 60+, country accent...

No, it wasn't the old fella with tattoos, he didn't play last night, pity, as I have him figured out. Ray, the old fella that was there last night 'stole' most of my stack early on when he couldn't lay his draw down and hit on the river, forcing me to fold my set of 7s. Also had to lay down KK the only time I saw it last night, when someone went along for the ride with Ax and one hit on the flop. That incident also took 1/2 my stack!

Despite being shortstacked the entire final table, split it 50/50 when it got headsup :) The SE has been my ATM for the past few weeks.
