can i split the files on to 2 cdrs and put them back as 1 before i convert to a dvd file?
i need to get the file off the laptop and take it to a pc with a dvd burner on it

7-zip will compress a lot better than zip or rar files

if the contents wern't things that don't compress well like audio/video files you could look at www.7zip.org in solid mode..

Hjsplit is another option as well as re-compressing with Winarar spanning options enabled to spli it.
