Just got back from the UK -went to see B.B.King & Gary Moore on wednesday in Sheffield and then Depeche Mode in Manchester and Birmingham. They usually do "Shake the disease" in an acoustic version but @ the Birmingham gig they changed the track to "Leave in Silence" which was nice. They were absolutely amazing. Can´t wait to see them in June @ the Point.

B.B.King was great as well by the way.

Complete reports should be up soon under www.concert-reviews.net

Would be great if someone would send me a guest report for my page!!

I was at the Manchester gig and it was amazing. Great set list, my only complaint with it was that they included "Damaged People" (why?) and there was no "It's no Good". The band seemed to be on top form and Dave Gahan's voice sounded better than it did on the last tour. Great opening three songs in A Pain That I'm Used To, John the Revelator and A Question of Time, they really got the place jumping.

Dublin should be great, I will make sure I'm there early to get nice and near the stage.

I was in Manchester too, and was really impressed with their show. The sound was brilliant, the lighting and effects were excellent, the atmosphere was electric, I really couldnt fault it. Would definitely travel to the MEN arena for a gig again, its much better than the crappy, atmosphereless point depot. We were sitting on the upper tier at the back, and the view was excellent (I thought the seats would be crap).
Dave Gahan is a great showman.
By the way, I'm not particularly a fan or anything (was accompanying one) so was pleasantly surprised.

Went to see them in Manchester with the bro', great concert, excellent stage set & performance.

I don't know why there are so many negative opinions on the web about them playing 'damaged people', it's not a bad song, each to their own I guess.

It's a long long time since they last played Dublin so should be a good one in June..

Ever since I saw the video for Personal Jesus which features live footage Ive wanted to see depeche mode. Cant wait till June. Day after that Im heading off to Roskilde as well so hopefully they'll announce there too and I can get a double bill.

That'd be great. I keep hearing different things - The Bravery, the Raveonettes, and even Bauhaus *squeals in orgasmic joy at the thought*

Yeah the concert was awesome, we got seats at the back, but they were good "as peanut's pics show :) " , The Bravery were the support in manchester, John the Revelator and precious were really cool and martin did some great solo's. "A pain that i'm used to" was a great opening for the show. The video screens and lighting were top notch. They played for 2 hours, cant wait for june. ;)

Agreed, it was perfect. I really like their new album.
I wonder will they be booked for the electric picnic? Then it'd be a very electric picnic... (Gary Numan, New Order also on line up)

I'm still buzzing after last Thursday, it was the best concert I've been at in years.:)
