Hmm, I was scared when clicking on this thread. I was expecting some ungodly peice of ugliness, but that isn't bad at all. Nothing really astounding about it either though.

Oh, and that inlay is way to busy for my tastes. Really takes away from the guitar.

Indeed, but the Ibanez Tree of Life inlay is nowhere near as busy as that one, it's far more tastefull. I mean, look at that square near the higher frets? Seriously, just compare the two:

The Ibanez one doesn't completely overcrowd the fretboard. All in all, far more tastefull, and looks a hell of a lot better.

It's just the binding which makes it look busier. It's a fairly heavy binding.

I agree with Herr Hungus on the inlay, it was the first thing I noticed when I saw the picture. Nice guitar though.

I see what you mean, but it's definetly not just the binding. There's more foliage (Is it right to say foliage when refering to a guitar?) on that one.

That shector would be nice with no inlay or just something small and simple

Meh, it's nice and all, but about the only thing that's giving me gas lately is a John Petrucci signiature model. I still want one.
