what will now come on at midnight on setanta sports ireland is NASN extra.
you will get live baseball and hockey and basketball etc usually till 3am mind you the likes of baseball could go on for 5 hours.Me thinks setanta is going to get very big in coming years with the premership rights the golden chalice. And yes it is a permanent fixture..

yeah as far as i remember that match was as live as i saw it live on mlb.com and not a geat game, those spring games a hit or miss, new baseball season starts tomorrow.
i see no reason why its not a permanent fixture.
Nasn - Setanta all the same company.

It is a good move, but I am curious to one thing. What Setanta Channels do the UK get and what ones do we get? I know that we get SS Ireland, and they get SS 1 and SS 2. But then what is SS Xtra1 and SS Xtra2 (NTL Ireland) and SS PPV1 and SSPPV2 (Sky Ireland)? Why do the UK get SS2 and we dont? Which of those is the UK version of SS Ireland (or is it both). This type of thing is starting to confuse me as I dont know which are the dedicated IE channels and which are the dedicated UK channels and which (if any) are just common to both countries.

I did notice that the onscreen graphics (of the source station, not NASN) were blurred, I assume this is an artifact from converting between NTSC and PAL.

on Sky Digital i can have Setanta Sports Ireland, Setanta Sports 1, Setanta Sports 2, Setanta PPV1, Setanta PPV2

they are all different but sometimes Setanta Sports 2 show the same as Setanta Sports Ireland
