i was watching the final table on player today, and they did a small feature on Andy Black and showed at one point him saying something along the lines of 'its a really bad decision' and he looked quite upset. I heard a long while ago something about this but don't know the specifics of what happened and, well, curiosity has gotten the better of me... anyone know what happened?

also pretty sure i saw bohsman chugging a beer in the crowd at the final table, but thats a little off topic. :)

    i could try! :)
I read (i think it was on boards) about an 'injustice' that was done to a player at Andy Black's table... the comments i remember was that whoever it was was impressed that black expressed an opinion on said injustice where it would have been easier for him to let it slide and continue to focus on his own game.

I'm being vague as this is pretty much all i know... incident at WSOP 05, other player the victim of said incident, andy black upset about TD's decision and expressed his upset. if anyone knows what actually happened i'd be keen to know, but sadly im very shy on details. :o

some guy thought it was the dinner break and took a lenghty break, as you would, but it was only a 20 min break. Andy wanted everyone to sit out until he got back and apparantly got emotional at the inhumanity when they wouldn't, so he kept dwelling on cards for ages etc.

That is roughly it, but a bit sketchy on specifics myself.

It was probably when there was a 5 minutes break in play. But one guy thought it was the dinner break. Andy Black wanted them to wait and for the guy to be contacted but the TD (and the rest of the players) said that play must go on and the guy was blinded away until he returned.

AB was pretty upset by this (combo of tiredness and stress of the tourney didn't help).

Andy now realises he should have raised the absent guys big blind.
