oh they are planning something along these lines alright... but it will be 2007 by the time we see any real movement on it.

With Apple recently releasing their new iPhone which combines their successful iPod listening device with a cell phone giving consumers two commonly used gadgets in one, Microsoft now wants in.

Good idea, and I heard also that apple were working on this. Picture is only prelim obviously (or a fake), however I do predict a texting nightmare

Picture is still there. An you don't know if it's real or not. It hasn't come direct from an apple source and "looks" fake so one should assume it is.

Don't believe everything you see or read on the net.

Oh please; I've never seen apple release a render of a new product, certainly not a poor one like that.
Apple's tactics are quite simple, they announce a product and have it in the shops (in the US anyway) within seconds (or soon after

).

An iPod Phone is on the way alright, I wonder if they'll keep the scrollwheel - maybe they'll have a smaller one with a dialpad underneath? (rotary dial would rock!!!

), it would be horrible if it was as above.
I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't have a camera on it either.

This article is probably talking about the Rokr from Motorolla that is technically the "iTujnes phone", its pants by the way.
