can anyone confirm for me whether I can get on a Ryanair flight to UK using my irish driving licence? the website says an EEA driving licence is sufficient. is this what i have or is this some Europe wide driving licence i've never heard of! generally use my passport but i've lost it day before i'm due to fly.

any help is appreciated, preferably telling me that my driving licence will work!

an irish licence is an EEA driving licence...it means a licence from an EEA country , not a seperate licence....

Just make sure that it is still valid, an expired one won't be good enough - a relative of mine got stung before on this.
