Flash Problems Please Help

    Ok I am making a site , but for some reason my Flash buttons wont display in IE , but will display in FireFox.

    I have tryed time and time again trying to dl the flash player for IE but it just wont install. Any one got ideas.

    Yes it sounds like a player issues -

    Firefox having the version you have output the swf in e.g 7 and IE having an older or no version of the player,

    So what to do.
    Get a standalone version of the Flash installer:

    Download the following file to your desktop:

    http://www.macromedia.com/go/full_flashplayer_win_ie

    Once downloaded to the desktop run the file. This will install the plugin to your IE browser

    Close and Open IE to confirm the flash plugin has been successfully installed.

    OR

    Output the flash swf as an earlier version of the player e.g. 5 - as you are probably not using AS2

    Still having problems?
    Then send on some more info eg. Version of flash ( flash 2004 or 8 ) your Os ( XP, 2000 ) the version of IE ( 5 -6 )
