Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good place (on or offline) to get a cd/radio with usb port and/or sd card slot. Saw a very cheap one (Yakumo i think) on amazon but reviews are very mixed. Just bought a VW Passat with radio/tape combo so just wonderin will it be possible to connect another stereo to the speakers in the car easily or do i need to buy separate speakers. Would really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance :confused:

    Above links are good.

As for new stereo, whip old one out and connect wiring to new radio.
Once it has an ISO connector or compatiable wiring it's pretty handy.
The speakers in your car are prob ok, you will notice a good difference once you get a decent headunit.

If you have just bought a VW I would recommend you look into a Phatbox. 20GB harddrive MP3 player which is compatable with most Audi/VW headunits. We did a group buy on the motors section sometime back. It is the dogs bollax.

I have heard that if you know what you are up to you can open the radio and switch it back to European FM.

    Check it out
