I can't chat on Party Poker

As per title. I don't understand it. I type stuff in the box but when I press enter all I get is a "ping" sort of noise from my speakers. This ever happen to anyone?

Try emailing support to see if you're chat banned?
Maybe try exiting and restarting the software.

Party support is hell. I have exited and re-entered since. It happened in the middle of a SnG last night. I was talking to some guy and then all of a sudden I couldn't chat. There was no abuse involved.

you may have the payout box open from a tourny which for some reason stops chat
