Hi, I need help , I am trying to get gifts for my Groomsmen. All the websites are either crap or don't ship to Ireland.

Any ideas for gifts and where i could get them?

Any idea would be a great help.

I was a groomsman last year & the groom got us all matching watches. Was a really nice thought. Youd dont have go out & buy rolex's, just something which will look nice with a suit.

Also he got socks for everyone with their title on them "groomsman", "father of the bride" etc.

    Thanks skywalker,
They all have watches from girlfriend/wifes, I don't want to compete with that.

I've a best-man, one groomsman and 2 ushers. The two ushers are only 19 the other 2 are 30.

    I'm looking for something unusual.

Do you know of any website or where I could get them in Limerick.

A good idea for the best man as he would use them. My brother would only wear them once for the day and throw them away into his drawer.

Is it not illegal to import Sea Monkeys. Something to do with Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora

Sea Monkeys aren't endangered... they're virtually immortal when you take their interesting life cycle into account.

Plus you can buy them in any good branch of Smyths.

One wedding I was in, the groom got us all the old fashioned pocket watches with the chain and flip-open lid. Really cool. The priest was late the day of the wedding, and it felt like the 1920s or something with all of us standing out in our tuxes looking at our pocket watches, pacing around going "tut-tut"!!!

I did the oul' engraved hip flasks for my wedding. Clicheed, but always goes down well. For all of my groomsmen, it was their first time being in a wedding, so I didn't have to worry about them already having 9 hip flasks gathering dust in the garage.

Golf-related stuff seems to be a popular choice if your boys are into golf. Voucher to a good restaurant or something could also go down well. Give them something reasonably useful and they'll be chuffed.
