Fitz €250 or SE €50 tonight?

What are people going to tonight? I haven't been able to make my mind up, haven't played the Fitz end of month in over 6 months (not as much incentive as I don't play freerolls anymore so never have any credit to soften the entry-fee blow!) and wouldn't mind seeing what sort of crowd / numbers they get these days. Alternatively, the SE €50 game has a very weak field, though notoriously full of outdrawing mega-muppets. Plus, in the SE if you don't make the money, you are usually home at a decent hour, with the Fitz monthly game, you might bubble and still have only a few hours sleep before work. But I've never cashed in the €250 and think I should try it while I'm running well...it's a hard decision!

    Where will you play tonight?

It'd be a good time to try the 270 game again now as they have changed to a 30 min clock all the way through now. Finished at 6.45 last time, but I wouldn't mind calling in for a sickie with 5/10k in my pocket. Also I should be in bed by 1 am if the last few months are anything to go by.

I'll be there anyhow. You should at least try 2/3 satellites and the play the SE if you don't get in, best of both worlds and not as expensive as just paying in to the 270 if you don't fancy it.

Edit: The numbers are still averaging around 115-120 for this. Can drop to around 100, or be as high as 130, but usually around 118 or so.

Last STT will be around half 7ish I'd say although they'll have the blinders on from around quarter past 8.:)

I'm the same as yourself Paul, I havent played the €250 in months, as I'm in work in this new job at 6am on a Friday...

I'd love to play it again, great tourney. I cashed in 4 out of the 7 I played, winning it once. Easily my most profitable tourney... Damn work...

Yeah myself and Martin are heading in. I put a thread on this in the Main Poker section (Shoot me now). I won't be in until later on but Martin going in for the Free rolls. Good turn out over the last few months. Nice one. Hope to see a few Boardsies there, at the final table even LOL.

I'll be in the Fitz this evening - I'll play the satellites, and if there's no joy there I'll head home, the full buyin is a bit rich for me.

I'm in DIT college freeroll, might pop in to the Fitz for my dinner though if I get my timing right:eek: ;)

Cheapskate. I'll tell them to keep an eye out for a hungry Culchie and not to let him in. They'll probably think I mean myself though as I fit that description too and throw me out :(

freeroll at 4.30, stt's from about 5.30, 1 handers from about 8, and starts (officially at 8.30) usually at about 8.50.

Be there for 8.20 though if you are just paying in to it, as a queue is usually building by then to register, and the place will be fairly crowded downstairs.

Do you play in the Fitz much Gholi?

I may hit the 4.30 freeroll. Its actually a reasonable standard freeroll with 15 rebuys as you get guys who are there to play the main game irrespective of the reult in the freeroll...

P.S. played the SE last night. Outdrawn. Typical

Forgot about the STTs, will have to go down at 7 for those, then decide on hanging around or going to the SE...of course, I bought The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion for the PC last week, it is an amazing game and very addictive, so will I even leave the apartment?!

I doubt it. Women have been the only reason for your poker neglect in the past!.
