Is the guy in the opel ad danny baldwin ?

    much debate in out house - is they guy who runs / jumps down the hill to catch up with the opel car (astra i think) to have him wind down the window and say "nice car mate" - is this the same actor that plays danny baldwin on coronation street ?? I think so .......

    I don't think so. I did wonder for a while- he is definitly someone I know- its the voice.

    Danny Baldwin (actor Bradley Walsh) was lined up to play the part but had to pull out when he signed a contract to appear in Coronation Street - they wouldn't let him appear in the ad, so the producers of the ad decided to get a fella that looked and sounded similar.
