I need to get hold of a set of imperial spanners & socket set...

are they hard to source here and any recommendations if they're available in the Kildare/ West Dublin area?

You can get these pretty much anywhere ,
RS , Maplins , even Argos , not exactly rare , both metric and imperial sets should be available in any hardware place.

    Hi Lex,

Mc Quillans in Blanchardstown beside the town centre have a good range of tools, they go from the cheap and cheerful to professional sets.

If they don't have what you want on the shelf ask, they carry a lot in the stores and there branch in Capel Street.

Did you try Bradshaws in Newbridge or Ted Johnsons in Naas.
