Did anyone see the ad for these guys in the Evening Herald? They're looking for car salesmen in Iraq and Kuwait. As far as I know, the idea is to sell cars to military personnel in the Middle East/American bases around the world. Just wondering has anyone applied for the job? Or if there's anyone who's worked over there before? I believe you can make around 100k a year (apparently...)

I believe you can also earn yourself a bullet in the head over there. Not for 200,000 would i do it.

100,000 a year and your only worry being bombs or kidnappers. Its not worth it

A high percentage of which are ex-soldiers who can hold a gun, but will avoid situations.

It may sound "cool", but its hard to not shoot someone, if you've a gun on you lap, and you think you'll get killed if you don't use it.

If you ever hear about an "ex-soldier" getting killed, its most likely a truck driver.

Remember, they don't pay you to be a "hero". they pay you to get from A to B.

This has been discussed here before, with input from someone who had actually done the job (or was there, my memory isn't sure).
Anyway, the overall tone of the thread was; Don't do it, unless you value your life at less than your salary.
