    Hello!

I am looking up recipes on an american website and they mention cooking duck in the oven first and then broiling it on a broiler..

    Whats a broiler??

Is there an equivalent way of broiling without using a broiler?

    Many thanks!

    It's a grill or salamandar. :)

It basically means to crisp it up under the grill.

    Ah sound, thanks Shabadu

I take it any old grill will do? I have an electric one the regular old fashioned type. Would that do for my duck?

    Cheers!
