anyone else been bitten by a vampire in their sleep , though this would be cool at first but now is making the game a bit more difficult, like you cant go out during the day unless you feed or you'll take damage and alot of folks dont really like you , i've seen methods to cure it posted on elderscrolls forums but has anyone here successfully cured it?

I was in liffey valley looking for it last night here's what I found

PC world didn't have it but can't be arsed to price there stock anyway so I can't be arsed to buy anything in there:mad:

    Argos don't have it.:(

Smyth's have it but are charging €74.95, F*** off I'm not paying 15+% over the RRP:mad:

Dixons surprised me, by having most of there games priced at the RRP  but didn't have oblivion:(

Virgin can't be arsed to price there stock so I can't be arsed to q for 20 minutes to find out what there charging.

Game have it and like smyth's are charging 15+% over the RRP so they can go F*** themselves.

there are a few places mentioned there above that don't price there stock was there not a change in irish law about 10-15 years ago that made it an offence to display stock at retail without a price? or is that just wishful thinking on my behalf?

It's at times like these I really wished I was in swords more often so I could shop in Harvey Normans I picked up Amped there for less than the RRP last time I was out that way, come to think of it, it was more expensive second hand in game last night, €59.95 for pre-owned when the rrp is €64.99 come on game cop on.

You know if Game and smyth's and all the others that are ripping off there customers actually offered a better service than the likes of harvey norman's who are far cheaper there would be some reason to charge the extra but the truth of it is they don't! they just like gouging there customers. :(

So much and all as I despise there advertising, I'll be driving well out of my way tomorrow to go to see Harvey Norman and hopefully get myself a copy of oblivion for a resonable price unless Harvey has decided to follow the heard in which case it's, hi ho, hi ho, it's off to play.com I go :D

The RRP (if such a thing still exists) is not €60 for next-gen games though. It's gone up, due to pressure from publishers. They say it's due to increases in development costs, but's it's really to milk the early adopters, obviously. Give it a few months!

The RRP for x-box 360 games is €64.99 I've confirmed that with Microsoft myself, It is a retailers choice to charge whatever they want but the RRP for games was set by Microsoft to allow all parts of the channel have a resonable profit.

Charging more than the RRP is just gouging in my opinion and should not be supported by purchasing from a company that partakes in this practice. I also believe that as a responsible consumer I should make others aware of this in the same way that I would make others aware of a particularly good deal.

€69.99 in Xtra-Vision (the collectors edition too!)

If you want to get a game around the day of release your best bet is get a Smyths card, at least you will get 10% off new titles, but no shop will be selling new titles under 75 quid really. If you don't mind waiting a day or two order off play.com, if you order in sterling it works out about €58 per game. Otherwise, as grumpy says trade in.

or you could order off play.com, but while your waiting buy one on release day, then when you get your one off play.com bring it back and get your money back!
