when you deliberatly lose chips to another player. In cash games its done just as a way of moving cash from one a/c to another and so the sites dont like it. In tournaments its a form of cheating.

It has also been used in credit card fraud i.e. I rob a credit card purchase chips then deliberately lose them to my accomplice who then cashes out the funds in his own account, they have more or less nailed this one now though. I stopped playing prima a couple of years ago after they froze pokergirls account when he had over 67000 in it, he had been playing someone he just thought was a fish and took him for a couple of grand however turned out the fish was playing on a stolen credit card, the site then froze his whole account citing chip dumping and suspicious activity as the reason which was ridiculous considering he was killing the nl game there every day, it went on for months dont know if he ever got that money back.
