hi, need some advice about this usb tv card that i got for my dell laptop. i already had the hauupauge wintv usb. it worked but wasnt compatible with the Windows media center. When i went into the option to load the tv it said, tv tuner not found please install a supported Tv card. So i went off and bought the pinnacle Tv card that stated on the website in was fully compatible with MCE (media center edition). But its the same thing again. It works fine when i use the pinnacle software but "windows media edition" wont accept it. Ive even downloaded a criticle update on the website that allows u to use it with MCE but to no luck. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. Ive searched through all the forums but cant seem to come up with a direct answer. I could sell the card and buy one that is compatible as i bought the Remote control and reciever for MCE but its no good to me now! SO any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW ive rang dell and had to hang up, ive a dip in computing and had to dumb down the language to them. Talk about useless!

You sure the Pinnacle PCTV 50e is MCE compliant or can you point me to where it said it was ?

I see no mention on their own website for the product and unfortuantely Microsoft have changed their hardware partner layout for MCE and not all companies have re-submitted their information, but no Pinnacle product is on the list the PCTV 100i however does display a MCE compliant logo but that is an internal card.
