When the term "push" is used on this forum to describe what someone should or would do in betting, can someone clarify exactly what it means, is it an all-in or a substantial chunk of your stack?

and is the term an Irish poker one only as I cant find any reference to its meaning on any of the online poker dictionary references

the 2 similar terms i can find online for same (which I know are not the same as pushing chips in but just show that those are the only ones i can find)....

    Push
When the dealer pushes the chips to the winning player at the end of a hand. It's also when dealers rotate to other tables.

    and

    Pushing Bets
The situation in which two or more players make an agreement to return bets to each other when one of them wins a pot in which the other or others play. Also called saving bets.

    thanks..

Push: it just means to move all-in. And it's not just an Irish term, you'll see it a lot on 2+2 as well.
