So a drop down in stakes, as I take a time out and play some PPP.

    1/2 6-max.
I've lost a big pot Vs a moron earlier, but then I won a big one soon after.
    I have 320 in LMP
Villain is in the blinds with 200

    Preflop
Folded to me, I make it 7 to play with QhTh, villain calls from blinds. Every1 else folds.

    Flop (15)
    QcTc4s
    check, 15, call

    Turn (45)
    6s
    check, 45, think, call

    River (135)
    Jh
    Villain has 127 left
    check, I push.

Should I go for it all? Or try for half pot?

I always wonder the same thing. If he calls large bets he'll more than likly call a 3rd so i'll push here.

Edit. Are you not worried about a double gutshot - 78? Or a typical 1/2 player who'll play a missed AK to the river?

I dont care if he has outdrawn me ... although I really doubt that he has. Im not worried about being behind. But I want him to call.

His most likely hand is a flush draw I guess ... but maybe he has a Q or he picked up a J on the river or something.

He wont call a push with a busted fd.
Maybe he calls a 65 bet with a kinda KQ/AcJc type hand ?

Or should I just be pushing here all the time, and figure that its best overall.

Just wondering ... obviously he folded here, otherwise I wouldnt ask.

If he had a flush draw he'll fold to even a tiny bet on the river. From my experience, the average 1/2 player will call any bet on this river with top pair.

I think long term a push here will be most profiyable as you'll be caled by lots of AQ and KQs.

It should be best overall. You can't put him on a hand range that will call $127 x% of the time, but calls $65 2x% of the time.

    .

Thats a fair point. If you're not worried about being behind then a push is the play. From my limited experience, most 1/2 players that are going to call for 1/2 their stack will also call for all of it.
