DIT may send a team depending on prices, tournement structure etc. Where is the game being held? Any reg fee being taken by the CIT?

Well it will probably not start till 1pm but if ye left dublin at about 9 in the mo9rning ye should be down in time.if students from a few colleges from dublin will make the trip down.(DCU and DIT) well we could extend the starting time if there is demand for it. let us know...

A small percentage of the entry fee will be donated to charity.
What's the deal with this bit? How much of the entry fee goes to charity? Who decides this?
What charity is it going to? Who is ensuring that the money in full actually gets to the charity?

Instead of asking the players to cover the cost of the event, the Society is paying the cost and then the money that would be taken to cover the cost of the event is being donated to the Simon Community. The Society Officer and the director of the college ensures the money is handed over. We can send ye a picture of it when we hand it over if ye want!!! We are completely legitimate.

I cant understand why you would need a 75/150!!! the transfer from 50/100 and 100/200 its perfectly normal. it is better to see more patient play towards the end of the tournament rather than the start. we tried to fit in the 300/600 blind level but we have time contraints and i would hate to have a steep rise in levels anywere other than the begining.the blind levels are extremly similar to those operated in local casinos in cork!!!! if you have any suggestions feel free to post... but as we said these are provisional and subject to change

It is only a 20euro freezeout in fairness.

The blind levels are not extremely similar to Cork casinos. The 75-150 and the 300-600 are always played (accepting that in the Maccau the 150-300 is skipped). The blind levels you are using are more in line with pub tourneys but that is fine if that is how ye are running it.It wouldnt be fair on the casinos to give players the impression that they skip all them blind levels.

i knew the 300-600 blind was used in casinos, but as i said we tried to fit it in but we have time constaints. i dont recall the 75-150 blind being used in the casino but i would give you the benefit of any doubt as you would probably have more experience of being in the casino than i would..i havent been there for a while..thanks for the correction...:)
