I am trying to duplicate a paragraph an additional three times on a page i.e. in the top right, bottom left and bottom right of the page. Is there a quick way of doing this?

Have you looked into "headers and footers"?
Insert,Autotext-header and footers.
I am pretty sure it will do what you need it to do with some playing around.

can you not just copy and paste?

Use columns or Use texboxes then hide the borders. Or use a table and hide the border.
