Very sad. That you have to mention the fact that there was a sketch in Naked Camera in a casino.
WTF does it have to do with Poker anyway???

    Very very sad........

many people that post in the boards poker forum are fitz regulars, where the sketch took place. its interesting seeing somewhere where i and many others play poker featured on tv. by the way, its much sadder that you felt the need to reply.

I'm bored and I felt that a post in a poker forum, about a programme which featured a sketch in a casino (the sketch by the way did not focus on Poker in any way) was a bit sad and as such deserved a comment.
Why wouldnt you post on the other locations around Dublin and indeed the country where the other sketch took place.
Its also interesting seeing a street that you walk down every day featured on TV but if everyone felt the need to post about it it would be pretty sad as well.

Actually, I was on Boards.ie and in the new threads section there was a thread entitled "naked camera"- not so strange I thought, but then I noticed it was in the Poker forum-so I had a look and after contemplating a few things-which I have mentioned earlier, I decided to post my comments on the thread.

I do realise that this is the Poker forum. I wonder though whether the original poster knows this.

what it has to do with poker is that many of the people who post on this forum play poker in the fitzwilliam card club
Why wouldnt you post on the other locations around Dublin and indeed the country where the other sketch took place.

if it took place somewhere in which people on this forum frequently play poker, somebody probably would.

Dub13, I wont comment on the level of sadness in that post.......
I am contributing from a logical point of view.
I dont see people in the Dublin (Or other regional forums where the sketches have been filmed, or indeed people in the commuting and transport forum (well there were a number of sketches filmed on the dart remember) posting about Naked Camera featuring places that they frequented.
So as I said above I found it strange to find a thread on Naked Camera, a TV programme in the Poker forum because of a pretty tenuous link.....seeing as Poker was not itself featured.
So my comments are observations from my point of view. So apologies for not being more positive and contributing to the friendly conversation.

    Seem like a nice bloke...

If you haven't noticed already, YOU are the only person objecting to this thread, so if you don't mind fcuk off and moan elsewhere

I thought this was the Poker forum......
And that this thread was about Naked Camera.......

If you really want to get into my recent posts history you should look also look at the ones that have helped people out and also the ones thanking people for help which I have received.
You might also notice a few more posts such as the two you mentioned, commenting on peoples pretty fuzzy logic and bad use of the English language.

I dont think I have objected to the thread ( I didnt think that was possible without reporting it)-I've just given my opinon. Granted its not the same opinion as anyone else who has posted yet but that doesnt mean that it is incorrect/wrong or without foundation.

Anyway back on topic, wasnt Naked Camera great - I think that guy who came up to the fruit seller ( the same guy who was in the Fitz was dressed as a stall owner) plays poker every Sunday night in the Submarine bar.......

    Kippy,

Its the way you went about posting, your first post on the Poker forum and you are calling the OP sad,in fact you then went on to call him/her very very sad just in case he missed it the first time.

    Next time try something like

Hi I am kippy,I am new to the forum.

You get the idea now,be nice to people and they will be nice in return.

Here is a poker related thing with this topic. I was playing poker in the Fitz when they showed it on the telly. Everyone laughed at poor Mick and his exasperated looks.

I asked him whether he had an agent yet or not (funny guy me), and he said he wasn't even meant to be working, Scouse John had rang to swap shifts!!!

They got permission from the Fitz to broadcast it and also got their surveillance footage.

some of the posters here actually live in the fitzwilliam card club.

if your house was on TV would you not be interested?

    Okay okay,
Ye all live in the Fitz and were happy to see "Home" featured on TV, so much so that ye had to discuss it.

Kippy if you want to discuss naked camera in general then go to the TV forum and create a thread. Some folks do that when they wish to discuss things. It's far more preferable than roaming the forums looking for threads to pick holes in. The people caught out in that scene are known to us so it gives us a kick to see it. You harping on about nobody commenting on scenes on the dart is meaningless and is not a valid point. Also look up a few things on google under the context of forums. Troll, Impatience, Impending and Banning.

Sorry Musician, I did apologise in my last post.

Although I do think that if someone posts something in a public forum, responses of all types should be expected.

Not too much else I can do to fix the hurt I have caused.

I think poor old Kippy was treated a tad harshly. But he was causing trouble for the sake of it methinks but lets just let it lie. Maybe Kippy will be back in this forum looking for some poky advice in the future.:)
