Would anyone have any suggestions where I might find quality race leathers for a decent price? I need this one piece suit to include shoulder protection, elbow/forearm protection, knee protection, hip padding, velcro at knee for sliders, and a padded hump. I have back protection.

Most of the bikers here are in Ireland and probably won't be able to suggest a place that would be local to you.

I'm willing to send in my measurements and pay shipping. I can't find a suit here less than a grand.

I'd bet my right arm you won't find something like that cheaper in Ireland than the US, maybe Italy or Spain, but not Ireland, sorry MizzKatt.

Sadly Mizz, you wont find a custom one for less really. I am a guy whos 5'8", 36-38 waste and 32" leg. I cant get leathers so I was asking about coustom ones out at Ducati. They said they can give me names of places. But it wont be cheap. I guess its a summer project for me (to lose waight)
Sadly I dont want to. As I fine the extra few pounds help keep me warm. (by few punds I mean stone's)

I'll ask around if you want. But remember that Ireland is alot more expensive that America is and you will get killed on the exchange rates.

Try looking for a secondhand suit. Your local track might be a good place to start.

I was afraid y'all would say that. Being 5'0" even, off the rack suits aren't exactly a choice. This picture is from my very first track day on the beast. The leathers were borrowed from a friend that was in a different class. Ewwwww.

I call it "Frankie." Short for Frankenstein. It's frame and most of its engine are an FZR rebuild. It's the track whore because my friends are worried about crashing it. They ride it with gusto!

I got an off the rack set of leather and had them altered to fit. Get the best fit you can and go to a good tailors. Some places over here specialise in altering leathers and know whats needed for motorcycle leathers(ie the blind stitching and how to fix the pads properly so they don't come apart in a slide)
