Might be better off posting in the SE forum, but anyhoo there's a karting track in Kiltorcan just outside Ballyhale on the road to Dublin which is pretty decent.

that looks class any idea of a rough time span it would take to get from waterford city to there? Are the cars fast???

Pretty fast I think, never been out there myself but some friends have said it's deadly. There may be more specific details on the site. Kiltorcan itself is around a 20 minute drive from the city on the main Dublin road.

Is there not a go carting place in Watergrasshill in East Cork??

I've been to Kiltorcan and its no more than 20 mins from Waterford. You go up towards Kilkenny and before you come to the village of Ballyhale theres a signpost for the track on the right hand side, that goes up a hill (up towards Mountainview or whatever its called, Golf course) and its a few mins from there. All in all quite easy!

Kiltorcan is by far the best track I've been to, not that I've been to all that many, but it's an excellent place to go.

We went to this Rally School - its pricey enough but if you get a group together its not too bad and its well worth it.
